  • The Company  should develop good working conditions. This facilitates employees to do their work effectively.
  • The Company  should develop good relationship among employees. Through which, Job satisfaction of employees is enhanced. As found in the case study , employees’ work performance is below the required level.
  • The Company  should induce employees to perform well. This can be achieved by providing reward, motivations, and other benefits etc.
  • The Company  Employees should be trained to adopt new technology and or develop their career.
  • The Company  should evaluate employees’ performance. The feedback about the quality & quantity of performance will be provided to improve their performance.
  • The Company  should provide unbiased promotion. That is promotion should be provided based on the qualification of employees and /or experience.
  • The Company  should implement equal employment opportunities. That is employees should not discriminate against female, and minority or  worker on age.
  • The Company  should design working procedure including hours of  work, over time payment and hourly  payment etc.
  • Proper working environment should be designed. In that HFS  should provide adequate facilities employees to do their works such as appropriate equipment, work breaks, and work sharing.
  • The Company  should design good grievance procedure, disciplinary procedure and separation procedure etc.

Job Enlargement

Job satisfaction of employees is vital for any organization to succeed and mainly job satisfaction is depended on job enlargement and there are other reasons also  behind job satisfaction of employees. Job enlargement  sometimes also referred to as horizontal loading   involves the addition of extra, similar, tasks to a job.  In job enlargement, the job itself remains essentially unchanged. However, by widening the range of tasks that need to be performed, hopefully the employee will experience less recurrence and monotony that are common on office functions. With job enlargement, the employee rarely needs to acquire new skills to carry out the additional task, and the motivational benefits of job enrichment are not usually experienced. One important negative aspect is that job enlargement is sometimes viewed by employees as a requirement to carry out more work for the same amount of pay.

Serve Yourself

Question yourself what you can  do  for the services of the fellow human beings.  This is the  best  and this is what you can  do for yourself. When you are serving others in reality you  are  serving yourself.

If you are  trying to serve  yourself  that is your ego and  you will go nowhere but   serving others  you can make   a fortune and  you can  create a comfortable future for yourself and   your dependents.

In any situation,  any circumstances,  whatever you   have and what is  in front of you,   you can find an opportunity because opportunities are  abundance and in everywhere.   Grab the opportunity and make a positive  change  or difference to  create value.

Do not  engage yourself in the thought pattern of getting, receiving and obtaining from others   or the government.  We are satisfied   when we are achieving , implementing   for the benefit of others.

Your dedication and commitment to serve, is the  most significant  mindset you have to create.  Best novel has still not been written. best song has still not been composed, best  machine  is still to be produced.

Go for the best,   go for the moon  and you will be at least   among stars. It may be your interest to master in some sports,  to bring to light your skills or talents,  to make people  happy in arts  or may be to  develop your artistic talents.  You can use to create  value  in whatever you are engaged in.

We  are wasting our valuable time  by thinking and thinking how to do it  and planning.  You have to be practical.  You cannot swim until you go to  the water.   Start doing  and while doing you  have to plan your directions.  Within you  a hidden treasure which is unique and your efforts should be made to bring them out to the light.

Sample Research Study

In this case study   staff , some of the customers and  other companies which have business dealings with the  ABCED  PLC  were interviewed and got feed feedback in order to find  the present situation of the company and also referred to  various  financial reports and  other printed matter to   get a clear picture of the company.

In the case study it came to light  that Human Resources department has been   handled by Mr. XXXX, Senior Manager r who had worked in the legal section prior to his assignment in personnel department. There is no proper promotions system is in operation for the employees of the company   and as a result there is frustration and disappointment among staff members.

In the research it was found that most of the employees  in the company  have been doing the same work over and over again and nature of the work is monotonous and as a result there is dissatisfaction.

It was found that designations given to HFS employees were outdated, not in conformity with modern practices. Employees prefer to have a better designations to be proud of themselves. Without spending any financial resources   employees can be motivated with  creative designations but this practice has been neglected by  the company.

There is no proper management strategy to motivate people and make them imaginative passionate and contribute their abilities and capabilities to the growth of the company.

There is no proper incentive scheme in practice to persuade and inspire   employees in the company  in order to take utmost productivity and as a result most of the   staff members  have become sluggish.

There is no proper system in operation in the company  to evaluate employees to assign work according to fit into the  innate nature of  each every employees. It is the duty of the management to appraise them according to their nature and assign duties accordingly.

All employees  must be given the challenge that with   dedication  or working harder or working imaginatively,  they can contribute to the institution they work  and  in that manner    employees  will also be  given some  sort of rewards. There is no proper management tactics  in operation in the company  in this area. Management must realize that every employee is preferred to   go up in his or her career  ladder and that opportunity must be  bestowed to them.

Prior to most of the decision making processes employees’ ideas  should  be acquired. Management must encourage employees to contribute with  new ideas and this can be done with offering  rewards  to the employees.  There is  no such system is in operation in the company. In order to motivate employees to show that  management is paying  attention   and respect the creative ideas and suggestions of employees of the company.

Cross Training is s not in operation in the company. Under the cross training  employees are   given the opportunity  to work in different sections and consequently   they can  get rid of  monotonous  nature of the work. When the employees are trained in different sections when there is  absence of employee company functions will not be disturbed.

There is no such a management strategy is in operation in the company   to recognize  employees in a manner  selecting a best employee of the month or  best employee of the section in order to inspire them.

There is no such a practice in operation in the company  at present to offer Financial rewards to its employees considering  their performance.  It is with the financial reward  people can be motivated  and inspired  other than anything else.

Non financial incentive  scheme is an another way to  inspire and motivate  employees and  get the maximum  from employees for the  growth of the organization and it is necessary to design such a  scheme in the company.

Executive Summary

Globalization has made the world a global village and  new companies  offer new challenges and opportunities.  Technology has increased accessibility and visibility.  The connected world is small  and changing rapidly and has more open information and open to competitiveness. Employees are the backbone of  any company and their expectations are constantly raising as they gain in education and skills.  In the other hand  customers have  become increasingly segmented , literate and demanding. Most of these trends are  beyond the control of any one individual or any one company.  This happens in both predictable and unpredictable manner.  These trends affect human resources. HR.Practices  are becoming more integrated, aligned and innovative.  In this present scenario  HR departments are  functioning more like a business within a business with  clear strategies. Employers expectations are also persistently  raising and they expect HR professional to contribute by the competencies they posses.

This  is the  real challenge and there is no alternative but   HR professionals have to face with dedication and commitment.

Introduction to Project Report

This Project is to cultivate  Corn (Maize ) in  50 acres of land in  North Central Province.  We will do all the investments on the cultivation up to the harvesting of the land and also marketing. We intend to  sell corn (Maize) in the local market and majority of the production is intended  to supply for animal  feeding for  cow milk production in the up-country. We have a request from a main cow milk producer in the up-country to supply maize for their cows.  In this Project we will  create  direct  employment opportunities and indirect employment opportunities.  We will   transport the Corn  from North Central  Province  to the Central Province so indirectly local transporters will make money by doing the transport. Then on return we will bring the squeezed cow manure which is complete organic compost  fertilizer  and sell in the local market while using it for our own cultivation too. This will be also an income from this project  and there will be  indirect employment  opportunities are  created for the people. This will not be a quick money making project   but it will be a project directly and  indirectly helping the country to develop the cow milk production and also helping the local cultivation by using organic compost Fertilizer  without using chemicals. We intend to invest approximately about Rs. 2 million  initially for this project.
