My future ambition is to learn Korean language. My aim is to be proficient in Korean language speaking, reading and writing. I have come to know that 80 million people speak Korean language all over the World and it would be very helpful for me in the event I am proficient in the Korean language for my future endeavours.
I am interested in Korea while Korean history may not be quite so well known to westerners as that of neighbouring Japan or nearby China, there is still a rich and proud history has Korea that stretches back to centuries. While a lot of the ancient temples were destroyed or defaced during the Korean War, it states that there are still remaining most of them.
There are lot of reasons why Korea I will always hold a special place in my heart. Korean culture is a fascinating blend of old traditions being merged with western ideals. Korean music, whether it is traditional throat singing or Pop, is another of those blends of old and new.
I have found Koreans are polite and enthusiastic people. There is a real enthusiasm for learning more about Korean people, their culture, food habits and everything else is really endearing.
I like Korea very much and interested in Korean people and their cultural values therefore, I thought of going to Korea be mix with the Korean people learn the language, while learning their cultural traditions. This desire induced in me because I was very much interested in Korean tele-dramas which are screamed in Sri Leninakan television.
There are even now lot of Korean people in Sri Lanka and I think lot more people will arrive as tourists to this country as Sri Lanka tourism industry is developing rapidly after the war situation.
Korean cuisine as a national cuisine known today has evolved through centuries of social and political change. Originating from ancient agricultural and nomadic traditions in southern Manchuria and the Korean peninsula, Korean cuisine has evolved through a complex interaction of the natural environment and different cultural trends.
I expect after my studying Korean language and return back to Sri Lanka and commence my own business. Equipped with the Korean language, my dream is to become a owner of a business in Sri Lanka. My objective is importing computers and computer accessories from Korea and distribute in Sri Lanka. I am certain that Knowledge of Korean language will help me to develop this business.
