Kandy is a major tourist destination in Sri Lanka. It is the last royal capital  of the country. Kandy is situated  115 km away from capital of Colombo The main attraction of the city is the  Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic.  Kandy Perahera or the procession is the most spectacular event  and more than 50 elephants  parade the city together with drummers and dancers.   Kandy is rich in cultural diversity  and it has plenty of  events such as songs, dances and handicrafts to ancient temples and adventure activities.
