Dear my Lecturer, Dear Friends and my colleagues,

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I would like to speak few words  today  on this special occasion  of farewell party organized for our lecturer. I would like to thank everyone of you  for taking the time out of your busy lives to join in this day.

English is the official language in many   rich countries in the world.  Along with that we find people moving out to other countries to work and English is the most used language for business communication in the world. It is also not surprising that more than 50% of content in the internet is in English. Moreover, the best books and films in the world are produced in English. Sometimes, popular and best-selling books in other languages are translated into English to reach a world-wide audience. All these facts prove the importance of English language. It gives us access to business communication, the world of knowledge and also the world of entertainment.   I am very much  thankful for our  lecturer  who gave us a very good knowledge in English language with grammar   which is  very important to all of us.  Though it is easy to communicate in our mother tongue; that alone is not enough in today’s world. It is a truly  effective  language and an international language as well!

Our Lecturer Mr. A has given us a  new start,  fresh beginning, a time to start new endeavors with new goals and objectives  to move forward with fresh confidence and courage.
