Management Strategies Translation

Following is the  last chapter of the research conducted to  discover   management strategies   to be used for minimizing the wastage occur while  storing  dried pharmaceuticals.

Accordingly quoted below the  suggestions for management  strategies  appropriate  to minimize  pharmaceuticals to conclude    this research report.

50% of the doctors and  52% of Workers  were not agreed to  the  statement of  dried pharmaceuticals stored are   junk free.   As such  storing  dried pharmaceuticals with  junk weaken   the quality of  the pharmaceuticals.

Management strategy  for this is  to cancel the tenders for pharmaceuticals  with  junk.

More than 60% of doctors and  52% of  workers  have stated that  wastage is occurred   while in storage.  Therefore,  it deteriorates the quality of pharmaceuticals.  Management strategy is, pharmaceuticals should be dried   properly   and  store them   when there is no  steam in them.

5% of doctors firmly  agreed that they received  quality pharmaceuticals  while  30% of doctors  and 41% of workers   did not agree to that.  As such,  it can be decided that  not receiving quality goods weaken the quality of pharmaceuticals.

( 4.1.1., 4.1.3.    diagram  )

The strategy  is to encourage the workers to  find out the substance of  rare pharmaceuticals  and reasons behind not receiving quality pharmaceuticals.

Six doctors who participated in the research  stated that  mostly wasted drugs  was phaseolus max and   five doctors  stated that  it is  malabar nuts.  Accordingly it can be ascertained that  phaseolus max and malabar nuts  are the mostly  wasted  items.

Management strategy is   these items should be properly dried and  stored in order to avoid wastage.

It was agreed  by 55% of doctors and  81% of  workers that wastage occurs due to  non availability of packing materials. Accordingly it can be ascertained that  wastage  caused due to non availability of  packing materials  and   that reason    affects  quality of pharmaceuticals.

45% of doctors did not agree that  pharmaceuticals are not categorized as leaves, nuts, roots and  shale  when storing   and  that  affects   quality of pharmaceuticals.

Management strategy for this is to  supplying of packing materials in required quantities and instructing to store categorizing pharmaceuticals and   in appropriate  packs.  According to 5 concept storing is not happening  according to  45% of doctors and  64%  of workers.  As such, it can be ascertained that not storing according to concept 5 affect the quality of drugs.  (4.2.1. 4.2.3. diagram)

Management strategy is to train workers and find out why storage is not done according to the  5 concept.

Dried quality Pharmaceuticals are not stored and not issuing before expiry dates from stores, majority of the doctors agreed that most of the wastage of pharmaceuticals occur  due to destruction caused by the small creatures. Accordingly quality pharmaceuticals are not stored and keeping them in stores until expiry dates wastage of pharmaceuticals occurred. (4.2.2 chart)

Find out why pharmaceuticals are stored until expiry dates, instructing to keep pharmaceuticals in necessary quantities, making arrangements to exchange Pharmaceutical produces with other institutions  if there is excess dried pharmaceuticals are management strategies suggested.

70% of the doctors didn’t agree to the idea that training is required to store pharmaceuticals and training is adequate. Accordingly it can be ascertained  that training for the staff is not adequate.

50% of the doctors and 52% of the workers did not agree to the idea that workers have necessary knowledge to purchase pharmaceuticals. Accordingly it can be ascertained due to  non availability of trained workers wastage of pharmaceuticals takes place.

(4.3.1, 4.3.2 diagram)

It is necessary to inform higher officers   in connection with the requirement of training for workers on storing of pharmaceuticals,  workers to  recognize  dried pharmaceuticals, organizing short term  training programs  for workers are management strategies.

60% of the doctors and 70% of the workers are in the  opinion that complaints have been received  when purchasing  pharmaceuticals,  suppliers are providing  pharmaceuticals mixed with  junk. As such,  it can be ascertained  that dried pharmaceuticals are mixed with junk and suppliers are providing  law quality pharmaceuticals.

Programs are necessary  for the suppliers   on pharmaceuticals, a committee to be appointed to  receive pharmaceuticals,  introducing standards are  managements strategies.

60% of the doctors and 65% of the workers  agreed that   samples are inspected on  practical knowledge , 20% of doctors and 24% of workers  stated that inspection of samples are not done. Therefore,  in it can be ascertained that  samples are inspected on practical knowledge. ( 4.4.3. diagram )

Find out why samples are not inspected,  if   lack of facilities  is the reason it is necessary to  provide   facilities,  taking  steps to  provide practical knowledge   are  management strategies that can be taken.

More than 7 doctors stated that  action taken regarding the  law quality dried pharmaceuticals is to  reject the tender.

In order to minimize wastage management strategies in brief  for storing pharmaceuticals are as follows.

 1. Rejection of tenders with junk.

2. Storing the pharmaceuticals until the steam is removed

3. Introducing standards after finding out rare pharmaceuticals  and

finding  the reasons for not receiving quality pharmaceuticals

4. Supplying packing materials in required quantities and categorizing

items and instructing to  pack them in  suitable  vessels.

5. Organizing a project to provide knowledge to workers on 5 concept.

6 .Not allowing the pharmaceuticals  to expire in stores and  receiving the

required quantity  or   producing extra pharmaceuticals and exchanging

    them with  other institutions.

7. Training  for workers  in connection with storing of pharmaceuticals

8. Organizing  projects for pharmaceutical suppliers to  recognize dried

    pharmaceuticals.
