INVESTMENT ON AN INNOVATIVE  TAXI SERVICE

Undersigned the  Managing Director of  AAA  (Private) Limited duly registered  a limited liability Company under the company  Registrar in  Sri Lanka  with a view to investing and initiating a business of naval and  innovative  Taxi Service in Colombo state the following facts for your kind consideration.

For this purpose  there are  used diesel taxis are available in Singapore named  Japanese Toyota  Crown. Specialty of these  Taxis  which are used in the roads of Singapore only only for a limited period of five years  and remove  from the roads.

We have been in  the automobile business  for  about 30 years  and we have our  work shop atNo.18, Sri Sangaraja Mawatha Colombo  and according to our experience these taxis  can be used in roads for about 10 years without having any  trouble  of repairs. We are in a position to importthese  used taxis as well as  re-conditioned taxis from Singapore.

 

We have planned to initiate a taxi service in Sri Lanka with a fleet of 50 vehicles initially and we have planed to expand  this service further in the future. Innovative idea is now in Sri Lanka  taxis operate on call basis.  Our taxi services  are running taxis in the Colombo streets and a passenger can stop a taxi and  hire it same as a Three Wheeler taxi.  The other advantage is  we can run these taxis  at the  half rate of  three wheeler hire charges and a meter is fixed to the taxi so that  like three wheller drivers, our driver will not deceive  the passenger. Passenger wil be able to read the meter and  make the payment.

 

For an example a  call taxi today charge  about Rs. 0000.00 for a hire from  Colombo to Katunayake  and we will be able to do the same hire for  Rs. 0000.00 . From this example you will notice the benefit which goes to the general public of this country.

 

The other  benefit is we are going to generate about employment opportunities for  approximately 125 people with the implementation of this project as drivers, technicians and other administrative staff.
